Frequently Asked Questions

1Where will these chess classes happen?

All classes will happen online over a video conferencing platform. You can login from your laptop or mobile or tab.

2 What do I need to take these online chess classes?

You need a Laptop/Tab/Mobile and a good internet connection to ensure smooth learning experience.

3What are the timings and days of online chess classes?

Classes take place twice in a week. Timings can be adjusted as per student and teacher availability.

4 Can I cancel my online course and get refund?

Yes! You can cancel your online classes at any time and inform the coach over the call to get the refund of the fee. If you have attended the classes for less than half of the month then half fee will be refunded and if you have attended more than half month then no fee will be refunded

5 What if I miss a class?

If you have enrolled for a group class, you will be provided with the recording of class you have missed. We request you to go through the recording and clarify your doubts in the next session. Classes can be rescheduled if you have enrolled for an individual session.

6 Can I contact the teacher directly?

Yes, you can contact the teacher over call or what’s app in the day time from 9 AM to 10 PM (IST)

7 What is the duration of each online class?

Each group session and individual session for online class is for minimum of 55 mins and maximum of 75 mins.

8 How long will it take to learn Chess?

Learning the basics of the game could be taught relatively quickly. However, becoming a good player and winning in the tournaments takes lot of effort and takes few years to master the game

9 Will my child get chance to speak in group class?

Yes. Our coach ensures every student in the class understood the concepts clearly and interacts with all the students to clear their doubts. Timing or the duration of the class is not important for us. Making all the students a good chess player over time is more important for us!

10 I don’t know if my child will show interest in the course and learn. Can I try?

Initially all kids show interest in everything. When they feel it’s difficult, they give up. But it’s our responsibility being coach and parents to push them hard to achieve their goals. Making kids to attend the classes regularly and consistent practice bring them interest and success.
